Runners Up

Polkeris Cubs with the help of 2 boys from St Eval Cub group managed to secure the runners up spot in the tag rugby tournament. In a howling gale (but thankfully no rain!!). Polkerris Won 2 and lost one (4-3!).

Well done Nina, Joe, Hugh, Fin, Yiian, Ross and the 2 lads from St Eval - and Connor - who turned up but missed playing due to the tournament finishing early due to the weather.

Cubs Tag Rugby Tournament 23rd November

Polkerris Cubs are taking part in a TAG (non-contact) rugby Tournament on the 23rd of this month. Its open to both boys and girls.

The tournament is being held at Godolphin Sports Ground in Newquay - see map below for directions

Please can any cubs wishing to play be at the ground by 9:45am with matches starting at 10:00am - the tournament should finish 2:30 -3:00pm.

Can all cubs attend in shorts, long sleeve sports top and boots. Refreshments are available (for a small charge). It is advisable for cubs bring a packed lunch and a water bottle.

Thanks to all those Beaver, Cubs and Scouts who attended
